Luciano Manilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GMG's Luciano Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionel Iorda in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Miulescu in the 17th minute of play forced GMG's goalkeeper Luciano Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Iorda, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Horaţiu Onaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Manilan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Lope in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichifor Atodiresei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes GMG got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ascencio. In the 24th minute, Dragoş Bodiu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GMG's Luciano Manilan didn't even have to move. Luciano Manilan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Goicea went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of FC Izesti booed when GMG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. GMG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Manilan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurențiu Avram in the 88th minute. With a little luck, GMG's Luciano Manilan got control of the ball when Laurențiu Avram tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Goicea in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, FC Izesti's Sandu Vâlceanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luciano Manilan. Luciano Manilan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Laurențiu Avram put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Luciano Manilan. FC Izesti played a much better game than GMG and deserved their victory. The GMG players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
