Erick Boianelli replaced Camilo Galeas. After a defensive mix-up in Capivara FC's zone, Elias Portillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Fernandez came out of the goal and Elias Portillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Souto in the 10th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Capivara FC's Claudinho Souto in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Esteban Guerrero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Júnior Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Águila's Fidel Uranga got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Fidel Uranga kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júnior Veloso made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Erick Boianelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the game, Esteban Pérez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Águila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capivara FC the free kick. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Esteban Pérez hit a great ball. Esteban Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Veloso in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes, Erick Boianelli made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Capivara FC's João Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erick Boianelli struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. João Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Águila. In the 68th minute, Erasmo Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erick Boianelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Carranza during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esteban Guerrero made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Claudinho Souto sent off a good shot on target. Betão Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Esteban Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Domingues during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Capivara FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Deportivo Águila.
