Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Kjellberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl Kjellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Per-Olof Isaksson fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mellanström's protests and gave Per-Olof Isaksson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mellanström's Per-Olof Isaksson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Henrik Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Karl Kjellberg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bai Lang Chao sent off a good shot on target. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Kjellberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund in the 34th minute of play forced Mellanström's goalkeeper Karl Kjellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arsenio Garoa fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASD Real Molinella 1911's protests and gave Arsenio Garoa a yellow card for diving instead. Marc Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute, Henrik Gadd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Benjamin Browald made in the 45th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marc Lundgren however managed to control. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Lundgren to make the kick off. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Kjellberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Bai Lang Chao hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Mellanström's Karl Kjellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund in the 58th minute of play. Karl Kjellberg came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by ASD Real Molinella 1911's Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund. But to his dismay, Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When ASD Real Molinella 1911's Renato Chaves in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mellanström's goalie prevented a goal. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Sandro Coisne was substituted for Elia Santangelo. Karl Kjellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Firmani in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to ASD Real Molinella 1911 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alex Pasin hit a great ball. Renato Chaves struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Karl Kjellberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASD Real Molinella 1911. If Renato Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl Kjellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Henrik Gadd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Kjellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Firmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mellanström's Marc Lundgren got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renato Chaves scored 4-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Kjellberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
