The Chuquisaca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipillo Abalos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Chuquisaca getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Meder Abeita hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Claudinei de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipillo Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's Jorge Mangueira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Chuquisaca getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Anier Abadia hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felippe dos Santos in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipillo Abalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diaz Abadie kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Jorge Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Luziense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipillo Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei de Barros in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernado Abeitia during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felippe dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Felipillo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe dos Santos came free, but Felipillo Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipillo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute of the match Jorge Mangueira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipillo Abalos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Meder Abeita to make the kick off. Claudinei de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipillo Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Chuquisaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diaz Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Felipillo Abalos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jorge Mangueira. Clube Atlético Luziense's Artemio Tohias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ongile Abar in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Chuquisaca getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Fernado Abeitia hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Júlio Faria got a free kick in the 61st minute. Artemio Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chus Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes, Jesus Lluques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Luziense and the Chuquisaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Lluques. Meder Abeita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Tohias having to interfere. Meder Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Artemio Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clube Atlético Luziense's Armandinho Guimarães was substituted for Erik de Souza. The supporters of Chuquisaca booed when Clube Atlético Luziense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Chus Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuquisaca and the Clube Atlético Luziense players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Chuquisaca got a freekick which was hit by Chus Abella. The supporters of Clube Atlético Luziense booed when Chuquisaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chus Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. The nice shot from Sidnei Silva in the 74thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Felipillo Abalos had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 77th minute of the match Clube Atlético Luziense got a corner. Chuquisaca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Mangueira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Artemio Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Navarro Abancens in the 79th minute of play. When Jesco Aballe fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chuquisaca's protests and gave Jesco Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chuquisaca getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jesco Aballe hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Chuquisaca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clube Atlético Luziense:s goal. Chuquisaca:s Felipillo Abalos showed great skill when he stopped Claudinei de Barros:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Navarro Abancens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Tohias was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 90 played minutes Chuquisaca got a freekick which was hit by Diaz Abadie. After having played for 90 minutes, Jorge Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Luziense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Claudinei de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felipillo Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Mangueira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipillo Abalos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
