Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Valentin Octavian charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Octavian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Magnifico FC - FSCMZ booed when Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Sandu Turcescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Alan Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Tirulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luca Tirulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Orlando Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca the free kick. Luca Tirulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
