Vila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blumenau Esporte Clube the free kick. Raphael Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lembit Nurmela in the 11th minute of the match. Raphael Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lembit Nurmela, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lembit Nurmela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Vila's Jaanek Vaher made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raphael Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eino Hint in the 26th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Raphael Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lembit Nurmela took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raphael Furlan. Raphael Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th minute Jaanek Vaher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Mendonça got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Délio Gerber. Raphael Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdur Hindpere in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Jaanek Vaher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raphael Furlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lembit Nurmela made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jaanek Vaher came free, but Raphael Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lembit Nurmela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Raphael Furlan made a huge save. Jaanek Vaher received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raphael Furlan came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaanek Vaher slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Eino Hint dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphael Furlan, 0-6. Vila made a substitution. Bruno Nigol replaced Eino Hint. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Valdur Hindpere hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Lembit Nurmela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Marko Rätsep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Nigol to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Délio Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blumenau Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihkel Ülipikk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play, Vila's Bruno Nigol made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raphael Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Vila left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blumenau Esporte Clube.
