Holstad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Appleton in the 7th minute of play forced Holstad's goalkeeper Sivert Espeseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Espeseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Appleton in the 8th minute of the match. Sivert Espeseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liam Appleton went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Holstad's goal looked a bit too open when Alastair Greenman came free, but Sivert Espeseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Espeseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alastair Greenman in the 21st minute of play. When Liam Appleton came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Staffy Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liam Appleton couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Holstad's goal looked a bit too open when Alastair Greenman came free, but Sivert Espeseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Holstad's August Oppedal got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Sturle Theodorsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tim Stevens came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Staffy Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Stevens couldn't finish the play. Sivert Espeseth came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Staffy Terrier FC's Alastair Greenman. But to his dismay, Alastair Greenman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 38 minutes into the match, Alastair Greenman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sivert Espeseth. Holstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alastair Greenman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 42nd minute, Christoffer Skjerven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Stevens in the 43rd minute of play. Sivert Espeseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Appleton in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Thomas Bodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Staffy Terrier FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute of the game August Oppedal made a throw-in which Kjartan Grøterud played forward. In the 53rd minute, Kjartan Grøterud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Liam Appleton notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Holstad's Sivert Espeseth. Sivert Espeseth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Liam Appleton in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sivert Espeseth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Holstad's Sivert Espeseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Holstad from getting a goal against them. Staffy Terrier FC made a substitution. Liam Potts replaced Nath Pointon. Julius Haukaas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sturle Theodorsen during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Holstad's Sturle Theodorsen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tim Stevens didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After having played for 71 minutes, Alastair Greenman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staffy Terrier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alastair Greenman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sivert Espeseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Liam Appleton went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Holstad's goalkeeper Sivert Espeseth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liam Appleton. In the 88th minute, Liam Appleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kjartan Grøterud fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holstad's protests and gave Kjartan Grøterud a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Holstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjartan Grøterud to maneuver through the defense. Alastair Greenman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Staffy Terrier FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the final whistle sounded Staffy Terrier FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Holstad.
