After 2 played minutes Pecém got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Tavares. Laércio Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvester Street, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Derrick Flores made a precise shot to the right of Laércio Eger. Pecém's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Benjamim Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derrick Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laércio Eger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lincoln Poirier went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, American Top Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lincoln Poirier to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Pecém defense, Derrick Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio Eger. The Pecém fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio Eger should have stopped the shot. Benjamim Pernambucano's shot from long distance in the 34th minute was not bad at all, but American Top Team's Boyd Delgado knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Derrick Flores took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio Eger. Laércio Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Laércio Eger came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by American Top Team's Derrick Flores. But to his dismay, Derrick Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

Gustavo Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Lucas Akins's late challenge caught a Pecém's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Akins helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Lucas Akins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, William Cochran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Eger made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Winford Craig sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington Cabral during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Washington Cabral hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Lucas Akins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Laércio Eger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Derrick Flores in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Pecém's goalkeeper Laércio Eger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lincoln Poirier. Laércio Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Street in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over American Top Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pecém throughout the match.
