An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Paraíba in the 3rd minute of play forced Kolsva FK's goalkeeper Erik Hellbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Paraíba took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Hellbom. Erik Hellbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Paraíba in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Hellbom saved Kolsva FK from getting behind. Dudu Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Erik Hellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Jean Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Hellbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Hellbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Valadares went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Erik Hellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Evert Stephansson charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Stephansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Kolsva FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ribeiro Sales FC:s goal. The referee gave Ribeiro Sales FC a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cleiton Amaral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kolsva FK's Erik Hellbom. 0-5. After the first half Ribeiro Sales FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dudu Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Erik Hellbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribeiro Sales FC. Östen Tidéksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dedê Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Hellbom having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Kolsva FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Valadares came free, but Erik Hellbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kolsva FK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Emanuel Finsberg hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Dudu Paraíba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik Hellbom, 0-6. Dedê Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Jean Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribeiro Sales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kolsva FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ribeiro Sales FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
