The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Lorencio got free with Quirze Millon in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Maní FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Maní FC's Flavio Lorencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flavio Lorencios short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Quirze Millon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Maní FC's Efrain Aztore in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Universitario's goalie prevented a goal. Efrain Aztore might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quirze Millon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Efrain Aztore ran back to his position shaking his head. When %teams%'s Flavio Lorencio was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-0 just inside the left pole, 27 minutes into the game. Quirze Millon was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Universitario's goalkeeper Quirze Millon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Lorencio. In the 35th play minute Flavio Lorencio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Quirze Millon. 4-0. Flavio Lorencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Quirze Millon made a huge save. Flavio Lorencio took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quirze Millon. Quirze Millon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 44th minute, Domingos Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Efrain Aztore fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Quirze Millon, passed just outside the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Pisciña to make the kick off. Flavio Lorencio scored 6-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quirze Millon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quirze Millon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Lorencio's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Flavio Lorencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quirze Millon. Universitario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Lorencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Efrain Aztore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Quirze Millon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Flavio Lorencio made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. Universitario's Quirze Millon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 minutes of play, Maní FC's Flavio Lorencio made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quirze Millon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quirze Millon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Lorencio in the 77th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Quirze Millon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Flavio Lorencio came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Maní FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Lorencio couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Lorencio in the 86th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Quirze Millon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Flavio Lorencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quirze Millon was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. 92 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Lorencio came free, but Quirze Millon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Lorencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirze Millon having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Maní FC's Efrain Aztore made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quirze Millon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maní FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
