The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dean Quinnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Chagas having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Vamos a ver's Wilson Chagas got control of the ball when Dean Quinnell tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Flying Hellfish getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Carlos Deeth hit a great ball. Lucas Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Caine Tucknott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Vamos a ver booed when Flying Hellfish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berry Wenham didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Flying Hellfish getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Russ Weatherby hit a great ball. Sebastião Branco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dean Quinnell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Wilson Chagas made a huge save. Wilson Chagas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Quinnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 37 played minutes Flying Hellfish got a freekick which was hit by Dean Quinnell. Fábio Poças took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caine Tucknott. Caine Tucknott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kevin Valente hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Wilson Chagas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradshaw Dollimore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd match minute, FC Vamos a ver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Valente to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match Barney Paddle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Chagas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Vamos a ver getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lucas Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Dean Quinnell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Vamos a ver's Wilson Chagas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dean Quinnell in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Chagas saved FC Vamos a ver from getting behind. Mário Santiago hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Flying Hellfish's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Russ Weatherby in the 77th minute. Flying Hellfish's Russ Weatherby was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Chagas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Caine Tucknott didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Carvalho went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Wilson Chagas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Quinnell in the 88th minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Berry Wenham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flying Hellfish and the FC Vamos a ver players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Flying Hellfish getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Berry Wenham hit a great ball.
