The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leandro Daneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Panuška in the 2nd minute of the match. Golden Tigers's Václav Machálek got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Yeray Saul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Eterno Campeón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Tigers the free kick. Yeray Saul was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 11 played minutes El Eterno Campeón got a freekick which was hit by Yeray Saul. El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Václav Machálek in the 13th minute of play. Oskar Siegl hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Tigers's Václav Machálek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Daneri. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Drahoslav Kačer struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Leandro Daneri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Tigers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanio Mascaro in the 24th minute of play forced Golden Tigers's goalkeeper Josef Matocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Václav Machálek came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Václav Machálek couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, El Eterno Campeón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicens Aguila to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Rafael Panuška managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Panuška was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Daneri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, El Eterno Campeón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Martinovic to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Václav Machálek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Panuška in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Daneri saved El Eterno Campeón from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Václav Machálek was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Václav Machálek notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri. Leandro Daneri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Václav Machálek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Václav Machálek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Leandro Daneri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Rafael Panuška made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Daneri. El Eterno Campeón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 73rd match minute, El Eterno Campeón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanio Mascaro to maneuver through the defense. When Drahoslav Kačer fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Tigers's protests and gave Drahoslav Kačer a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Drahoslav Kačer. Václav Machálek kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Panuška in the 88th minute of play. Patricio Arangua kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Eterno Campeón's goalkeeper Leandro Daneri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Václav Machálek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Daneri. El Eterno Campeón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Václav Machálek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Golden Tigers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
