The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sorin Lipan hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Fahrettin Uçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korkutalp Kabil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Iftodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Ion Iftodi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bornova's Korkutalp Kabil. Korkutalp Kabil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Korkutalp Kabil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Bratiloveanu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 22nd minute, Costică Brânzaș made a precise shot to the right of Korkutalp Kabil. Bornova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 25th minute Ion Iftodi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korkutalp Kabil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korkutalp Kabil was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Costică Brânzaș capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Costică Brânzaș really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Sorin Lipan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Korkutalp Kabil made a huge save. Korkutalp Kabil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Bratiloveanu in the 33rd minute of play. Bornova's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Ion Iftodi scored to the left of an out of position Korkutalp Kabil, making the score, 5-0. Korkutalp Kabil came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Adam Bratiloveanu. But to his dismay, Adam Bratiloveanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esat Mertel made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Ion Iftodi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Korkutalp Kabil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Brânzaș in the 57th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Korkutalp Kabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Sorin Lipan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Korkutalp Kabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Bratiloveanu in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Ion Iftodi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korkutalp Kabil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bornova's Fahrettin Uçhan got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korkutalp Kabil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Bratiloveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Fahrettin Uçhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ the free kick. Bornova's Korkutalp Kabil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Iftodi in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Costică Brânzaș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korkutalp Kabil was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Korkutalp Kabil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Bratiloveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Korkutalp Kabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Bratiloveanu in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Lipan came free, but Korkutalp Kabil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ fully deserved thier win.
