Zhan Mishonov kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Cruz Perez made a precise shot to the right of Zanko Ruski. AXi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Zanko Ruski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eneto Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Cruz Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zanko Ruski. After some careless play in the AXi defense, Anibal Soprano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zanko Ruski. The AXi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zanko Ruski should have stopped the shot. Zanko Ruski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneto Leal in the 44th minute of play. Zanko Ruski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Soprano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ponferradina 14 BCN D.Mar's Sandro Barroso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zanko Ruski. That made the score 0-10 after 75 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the match, AXi's goal looked a bit too open when Zoel Navas came free, but Zanko Ruski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
