DARAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Ourense the free kick. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Boncho Zhilev hit a great ball. Atlético Ourense's Ferran Dagora managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rumen Dzhananov in the 8 minute of the game. After 9 played minutes Atlético Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Mino Borrás. After 17 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Dragan Mangezov. Rogelio Verdaguer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Unai Calatayud came free, but Vute Baliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerrold Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boncho Zhilev in the 24th minute of play. Atlético Ourense's Unai Calatayud got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rumen Dzhananov during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rumen Dzhananov kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. If Dubardo Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Valcarcel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boncho Zhilev, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Unai Calatayud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vute Baliev having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Unai Calatayud made a kick off. The supporters of Atlético Ourense booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rumen Dzhananov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alek Rangachev kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Boncho Zhilev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerrold Valcarcel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 61 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Alek Rangachev. In the 63rd minute, Unai Calatayud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vute Baliev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Elin Yotzev charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elin Yotzev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rogelio Verdaguer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vute Baliev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DARAS's zone, Unai Calatayud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vute Baliev came out of the goal and Unai Calatayud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unai Calatayud in the 80th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Vute Baliev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DARAS's Boncho Zhilev got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the DARAS defense, Unai Calatayud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vute Baliev. The DARAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vute Baliev should have stopped the shot. If Kostadin Mazhdrakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Unai Calatayud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vute Baliev was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. During the 95th minute of the match Boncho Zhilev completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Boncho Zhilev a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Boncho Zhilev hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético Ourense had played much better football throughout.
