Andy Berg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Carlos Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Shantala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Carlos Shantala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Berg. Rossoneri XI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Shantala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Andy Berg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Racing Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gonzalo Txerran in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorato Soveral to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rossoneri XI getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wilhelm Ahlroth hit a great ball. Racing Club made a substitution. Bernardo Balasi replaced Benjamin Plancke. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Racing Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
