After 4 minutes, Victorino Abarca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dvo. Mandiyú and the Ágyúsok FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Medina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Udvari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Marcell Somogyi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dvo. Mandiyú's Augusto Medina did a great save. Ivan Firu scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dömötör Szepesvári, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from István Udvari, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, István Udvari took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Augusto Medina to make any attempt to save it. Ágyúsok FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoltán Tímár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from István Udvari, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-1 when István Udvari sped through Dvo. Mandiyú's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Medina. Mandiyú's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mátyás Fülep during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mátyás Fülep hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, István Udvari put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Medina. Ágyúsok FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dvo. Mandiyú the free kick. Mandiyú had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
