With his leg Bryan Masculier managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Sydney FC's Per Schäfer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rasmus Gölz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarne Vrankx in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Richard Clemens fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bryan Masculier, passed just outside the right post. Bryan Masculier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per Schäfer went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Per Schäfers short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Bryan Masculier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Per Schäfer might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Masculier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Schäfer ran back to his position shaking his head. The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Bryan Masculier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save The Supersaiyan Sorcerers from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Schäfer in the 20th minute of play forced The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's goalkeeper Bryan Masculier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Per Schäfer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sydney FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Per Schäfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sydney FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Schäfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per Schäfer scored 4-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bryan Masculier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 minutes, Per Schäfer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sydney FC and the The Supersaiyan Sorcerers players grew even worse after the yellow card. 36 minutes into the game, Per Schäfer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Bryan Masculier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's Bryan Masculier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Clemens in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Jarne Vrankx made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Schäfer in the 57th minute of play forced The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's goalkeeper Bryan Masculier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Schäfer to maneuver through the defense. Bryan Masculier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Schäfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Supersaiyan Sorcerers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcello Karger was slow to take the kick. During this time Sydney FC's players had a chance to rest. Sydney FC's Per Schäfer got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sydney FC booed when The Supersaiyan Sorcerers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Maerschalck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74th play minutes Per Schäfer shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Bryan Masculier and just under the crossbar into goal. Richard Clemens struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Bryan Masculier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sydney FC. In the 79th minute, Per Schäfer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bryan Masculier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Reifer went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Per Schäfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erich Egger to maneuver through the defense. Sydney FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
