But to his dismay, Ademar Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's Ezequiel Aguirre got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Stray Cats SJFC Millonary defense, Sidnei Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Astrada. The Stray Cats SJFC Millonary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Astrada should have stopped the shot. Guga Batista hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Aguirre might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Pirani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Aguirre ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Vianna in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Batista came free, but Edgardo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldão Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Reis in the 31st minute of play forced Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's goalkeeper Edgardo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Sidnei Reis made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Astrada. Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Vianna in the 39th minute of play forced Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's goalkeeper Edgardo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Severo came free, but Edgardo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stray Cats SJFC Millonary getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gilberto Pacifico hit a great ball. Edgardo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Vianna in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Vianna made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Alberto Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute of the match, Sidnei Reis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgardo Astrada was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alberto Vianna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Edgardo Astrada made a huge save. Edgardo Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute, Alberto Vianna made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Astrada. Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Bruno Arias's late challenge caught a FORÇA JOVEM F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Arias helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stray Cats SJFC Millonary's Bruno Arias got a free kick in the 67th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Vianna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgardo Astrada. That made the score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. After 78 played minutes Stray Cats SJFC Millonary got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Pacifico. Edgardo Astrada didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. Guga Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Edgardo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno de Barros in the 88th minute of the match. Gilberto Pacifico got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 93rd minute, Gilberto Pacifico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breno de Barros didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. FORÇA JOVEM F.C played a much better game than Stray Cats SJFC Millonary and deserved their victory. The Stray Cats SJFC Millonary players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
