After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Segundo Tulio got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Fecteau in the 6th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Matias Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Saul Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Clayton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Segundo Tulio hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Ricky Fecteau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Rubio came free, but Matias Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, C.S.M. Resita's Narcisse Starr made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Mon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Nick Rubio came free, but Matias Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal's goalkeeper Matias Mon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Nick Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenal's Matias Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Velazquez in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Narcisse Starr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Mon. Arsenal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narcisse Starr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

Teodoro Belarmo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Austin Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, C.S.M. Resita's Nick Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Mon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 60th minute, Narcisse Starr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Toney Gentry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S.M. Resita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal the free kick. Toney Gentry hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Samuel Clayton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Belarmo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 68 minutes into the game, Édouard Leary was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S.M. Resita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal the free kick. In the 69th minute of the match Victorio Mino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Clayton skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st minute, Eulalio Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Austin Velazquez made a precise shot to the right of Matias Mon. Arsenal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Matias Mon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcisse Starr in the 90th minute. Narcisse Starr received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Mon came out and tried to block the shot, but Narcisse Starr slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 92nd minute. C.S.M. Resita's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
