When Timofey Belyaev fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Voskresensk FC's protests and gave Timofey Belyaev a yellow card for diving instead. Terrence Arthur scored 2-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Mikulskiy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Terrence Arthur made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavel Mikulskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Scottie Correa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danila Kolobov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terrence Arthur in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Mikulskiy saved Voskresensk FC from getting behind. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Thaddeus Bellemare hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Voskresensk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egor Avinov to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maksim Ilyuhin made a kick off. Maksim Ilyuhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Scottie Correa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jewel Coats to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Mauro Boucher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Voskresensk FC the free kick. Pavel Mikulskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Arthur in the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Voskresensk FC's zone, Terrence Arthur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Mikulskiy came out of the goal and Terrence Arthur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, Voskresensk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruslan Krylov to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Terrence Arthur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrence Arthur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maksim Ilyuhin came free, but Scottie Correa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Maksim Ilyuhin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Scottie Correa. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maksim Ilyuhin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
