Luiz Leo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iwan Lepucki firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rubinho Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingar Holden in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of LavAzzA booed when La Società Sport Osasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, La Società Sport Osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Rubinho Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Leo got free with Iwan Lepucki in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaudencio Lekubegi took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubinho Lago. Rubinho Lago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 27th minute of play forced La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Rubinho Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute Luiz Leo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luiz Leo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the La Società Sport Osasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Leo couldn't finish the play. Iwan Lepucki was a little too slow when Luiz Leo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Leo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 55th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubinho Lago. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 59th match minute, La Società Sport Osasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Leo to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Lepucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Leo in the 62nd minute of the match. La Società Sport Osasco's Gilvan Maranhense was substituted for Luiz Leo. LavAzzA made a substitution. Mo Salah replaced Amerigo Labarra. LavAzzA's Gauthier Spiller was substituted for Kuno Kubin. La Società Sport Osasco's Ronaldinho Gauchet was substituted for Rafael Quiroga. Gilvan Maranhense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Lepucki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Rubinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Gauthier Spiller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LavAzzA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Società Sport Osasco the free kick. In the 75th minute, Gauthier Spiller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iwan Lepucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Maranhense in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to LavAzzA getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Xavier von Felten hit a great ball. When the match was over LavAzzA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Società Sport Osasco throughout the match.
