When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Pompiliu Traianescu took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Eros André to make any attempt to save it.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Dahlkvist made a kick off. Dorel Bolborici made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Sven-Edvin Persson sent off a good shot on target. Ahmet İlke Ertüze struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Eros André didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
