The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Flink didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. Bloodthirsty FC's Sven-Olof Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Cambranes in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Monte Hermoso Beach's Honorio Arias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bloodthirsty FC's Bo-Erik Nilsson got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 17 played minutes Albano Cambranes rounded Bloodthirsty FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Cambranes came free, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Bloodthirsty FC defense, Maximo Lico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. The Bloodthirsty FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Olof Gudmundsson should have stopped the shot. Albano Cambranes took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Monte Hermoso Beach's Albano Cambranes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sven-Olof Gudmundsson. That made the score 5-0 after 29 minutes of play. 32 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Lluciano came free, but Sven-Olof Gudmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Arias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorio Arias slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 38th minute. With an all-out effort, Monte Hermoso Beach's Sven-Olof Gudmundsson threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oscar Artal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Cambranes in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Albano Cambranes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. 92 minutes into the game, Honorio Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Sven-Olof Gudmundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bloodthirsty FC's Sten Hernström was substituted for Gösta Pihlblad. Honorio Arias hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
