In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper Édouard Mendy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Saul Urbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Ado in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Eufrasio to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Evaristo Ado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Édouard Mendy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliciano Rios was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilson Matorin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uriel Etxekopar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Édouard Mendy. Al-Fajuth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 56 minutes of play Amboy FC's Braulio Saturnin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Braulio Saturnin got a free kick in the 56th minute. Feliciano Rios came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Fajuth's Rômulo Soares. But to his dismay, Rômulo Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Feliciano Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Urbes to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Maicon Zanette sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Rios skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Americo Xabat got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Modesto Eufrasio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee ignored Amboy FC's protests and gave Evaristo Ado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Americo Xabat got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Al-Fajuth's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
