Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) AC LeX Luthor's Aristide Ciuvică started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 15 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Efraim came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 16th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Gabriel Efraim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague. Fulgencio Eyague was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Tauro came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, Aristide Ciuvică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Barovero. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Barovero should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Savion came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Barovero could save by the left post. A collision led to Lobos de Carelia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Prospero Inguma hit a great ball. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Inguma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Ciuvică got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Barovero made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Zeledon Savion sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Fernandez in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Eyague saved AC LeX Luthor from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeca Fernandez to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Zeledon Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC LeX Luthor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Savion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Godfredo Oriche threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lobos de Carelia's Leo Salomon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Savion in the 62nd minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Zeca Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Peep Pronk replaced Aristide Ciuvică. AC LeX Luthor's Jose Galtero was substituted for Godfredo Oriche. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 71st minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peep Pronk's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute, Ismael Tauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Efraim. 87 minutes into the game, one of Lobos de Carelia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute, Peep Pronk made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Barovero. Lobos de Carelia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When Peep Pronk came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peep Pronk couldn't finish the play.
