FERRABARCA FC's Cresconio Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save FERRABARCA FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FERRABARCA FC's Cresconio Mel got control of the ball when Cafu Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Celsinho da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresconio Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Yuri Alberto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cresconio Mel, 1-0. Urdaspal Echavarri kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, MAZER SAF's Igor Coronado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cresconio Mel. Cresconio Mel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some careless play in the FERRABARCA FC defense, Igor Coronado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cresconio Mel. The FERRABARCA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cresconio Mel should have stopped the shot. Cresconio Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Coronado in the 39th minute of play. Félix Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Cresconio Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuri Alberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Cresconio Mel made a huge save. After 46 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Yuri Alberto made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cresconio Mel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Jibaja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Yuri Alberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cresconio Mel. FERRABARCA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Alberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Lucas Pavieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, MAZER SAF's Celsinho da Silveira tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cresconio Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Alberto in the 68th minute of the match. Cresconio Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cresconio Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
