With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson Paraibano in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Matxin saved Deportivo Mandiyu from getting behind. Fernandinho Sá's late challenge caught a Deportivo Mandiyu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandinho Sá helped the player get up and apologised. Fernandinho Sá hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Janpier got free with Rômulo de Almeida in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Paraibano in the 15th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Samuel Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Daniel Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Nilson Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Matxin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Samuel Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Paraibano in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilson Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Mandiyu's Samuel Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Prata in the 52nd minute of play. When Arnoldo Janpier fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Arnoldo Janpier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Janpier to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Samuel Matxin got control of the ball when Róbson Prata tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Róbson Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Emenon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rômulo de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Jailson Almeida was substituted for Amauri Barros. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Nuno Rosado got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Rondinone F.C - FDFDF defense, Aquiles Bernard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rômulo de Almeida. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rômulo de Almeida should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Arturo Veronica replaced Arnoldo Janpier. In the 76th minute of the match, Róbson Prata tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samuel Matxin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Róbson Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Matxin having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Samuel Matxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Paraibano. Aquiles Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
