Ronaldo Pirani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Uudo Lant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Nelsinho Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Uudo Lant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Palestra do Interior could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grimório throughout the match.
