Angelo Ilixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Felipe Olivar in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AC Batán's Jimeno Infante. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilbert Godefroid to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Godefroid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ni Le Zheng was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Odol came free, but Ni Le Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ni Le Zheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Froilan Donostia notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of AC Batán's Ni Le Zheng. Ni Le Zheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 minutes, Bruno Efraim mouthed his way into the referee's book. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Batán would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
