Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donato Nalo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Joaquim Queirós got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute, Joaquim Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SORRISO E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Artemio Jaunti kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Eugênio Teles was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Anselmo Sarracino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Sarracino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Melquiades Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Rojelio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Eliseu Pinheiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Sarracino got free with Eugênio Teles in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 minutes of play, SORRISO E. C.'s Artur Branco made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Salvatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Club Atlético Atlanta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SORRISO E. C. were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Queirós made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Júlio Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Júlio Faria got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Branco. Melquiades Salvatore stood somewhat misplaced when Júlio Faria came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 58 minute. In the 62nd minute Donato Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugênio Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Terra came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SORRISO E. C.'s Joaquim Queirós slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. That made the score 1-5 after 78 minutes of play. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Queirós in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th play minute Artur Branco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. 1-6. When the final whistle sounded SORRISO E. C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atlético Atlanta.
