A collision led to ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Iuri Nóbrega hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Pastor Dominix could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Maximiliano Tab however easily saved by the left post. Maximiliano Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Gloz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hector Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poul Knoblauch came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sinbosteros's Uriel Mikeldi. But to his dismay, Uriel Mikeldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Poul Knoblauch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Laffitte in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Robert Baita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Sinbosteros's Uriel Mikeldi got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poul Knoblauch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 48 played minutes Sinbosteros got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Laffitte. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Alfonso was the one to do the kick off. Poul Knoblauch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Mikeldi in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Quirino in the 55th minute of play forced Sinbosteros's goalkeeper Maximiliano Tab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sinbosteros were furious when Artemio Francesco was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 58th minute, one of Sinbosteros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sinbosteros. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for ♞Sir Galahad FC♞. Sílvio Luiz Quirino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximiliano Tab. 2-1. Uriel Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Baita, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ booed when Sinbosteros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Alfonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Sílvio Luiz Quirino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximiliano Tab showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximiliano Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Gloz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Baita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maximiliano Tab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Laffitte's late challenge caught a ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Laffitte helped the player get up and apologised. Eloy Laffitte hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Robert Baita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 98 played minutes, ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Franz Gloz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximiliano Tab came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ fully deserved thier win.
