Gone With the Win were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Club Atletico Lanus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daud Kunaefi took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when 徐光辉 got free with La Mano in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torcato Modesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Boyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 徐光辉 in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg La Mano saved Gone With the Win from getting behind. Club Atletico Lanus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 徐光辉 in the 39th minute. La Mano was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and 徐光辉 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 徐光辉 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 47 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Boyle came free, but Torcato Modesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

La Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 徐光辉, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gone With the Win booed when Club Atletico Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Gone With the Win left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atletico Lanus.
