The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lourenço De Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agapito Cabanela in the 3rd minute of the match. Lourenço De Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lleir Martinez went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agapito Cabanela in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lourenço De Matos saved Recreativo FC® from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Checa Pena got free with Lourenço De Matos in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the game João Carlos Gonçalves made a throw-in which Pôncio Bouça played forward. Berriotxoa Jareño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Novais, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Recreativo FC®'s goalkeeper Lourenço De Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agapito Cabanela. Manuel Novais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Berriotxoa Jareño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Murcia Promesas's Agapito Cabanela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lourenço De Matos. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. In the 43rd minute, Lleir Martinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lourenço De Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 46 played minutes Murcia Promesas got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Elguero. After recieving a nice pass, Recreativo FC®'s Lopo Matta tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Checa Pena to strike the kick off in the second half. Berriotxoa Jareño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Novais went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agapito Cabanela in the 61st minute of play forced Recreativo FC®'s goalkeeper Lourenço De Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço De Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agapito Cabanela went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Murcia Promesas's Ariel Domenech was substituted for Licerio Lacorte. Manuel Novais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Berriotxoa Jareño made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lleir Martinez in the 79th minute of play forced Recreativo FC®'s goalkeeper Lourenço De Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lourenço De Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agapito Cabanela's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Checa Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Recreativo FC® defense, Checa Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lourenço De Matos. The Recreativo FC® fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lourenço De Matos should have stopped the shot. Fernando Elguero's late challenge caught a Recreativo FC®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Elguero helped the player get up and apologised. Fernando Elguero hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Murcia Promesas getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Godfredo Griego hit a great ball. Lopo Matta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Berriotxoa Jareño made a huge save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Murcia Promesas had played much better football throughout.
