With a little luck, Oktyabrsky HC's Ilya Efimov got control of the ball when Christian Ashford tried to sneak it across the goal line. András Tóth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoriy Rubanov in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Arturo Christobal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilya Efimov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christian Ashford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilya Efimov was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Arturo Christobal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ilya Efimov 19 minutes into the match. Oktyabrsky HC's Ilya Efimov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Christobal in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mikhail Andreev during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 44 minutes, Arturo Christobal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Christobal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Pastor Rexino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilya Efimov, 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuriy Osipov was the one to do the kick off. If Arturo Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilya Efimov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Christobal in the 59th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Oktyabrsky HC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Rexino came free, but Ilya Efimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oktyabrsky HC's Klim Karyaka was substituted for Fedor Luvischuk. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Romário Fenomeno was substituted for Christian Ashford. A collision led to Oktyabrsky HC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Yuriy Osipov hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Christobal in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilya Efimov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oktyabrsky HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Generoso Egun was slow to take the kick. During this time StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Christobal in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilya Efimov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oktyabrsky HC made a substitution. Adrian Beschastnyh replaced Timur Buderaskiy. After 81 minutes Oktyabrsky HC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Generoso Egun who took care of the corner kick. Ilya Efimov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Pastor Rexino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 92nd minute, Arturo Christobal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilya Efimov was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Christobal in the 96th minute of play forced Oktyabrsky HC's goalkeeper Ilya Efimov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
