Farid Mondragon made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Kai Förster sent off a good shot on target. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türkeş Akşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Matthäus got free with Farid Mondragon in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farid Mondragon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kai Förster in the 17th minute. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 21st minute of play. Burhanettin Baykam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Rotariu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zvonimir Prestin in the 28th minute of play forced Andırın SK's goalkeeper Farid Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Bayezit Tecmil in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Andırın SK's Tenyo Tikvanov. In the 42nd minute of the match Andırın SK got a corner. PoWer SC 2K5's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naci Tansu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PoWer SC 2K5's goalie and right to Türkeş Uğuralp. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PoWer SC 2K5's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 45th minute Türkeş Uğuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Andırın SK made a substitution. Olaf Jarosz replaced Burhanettin Baykam. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zvonimir Prestin made a kick off. Farid Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonimir Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olaf Jarosz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 66th playminute. Andırın SK made a substitution. Batıhan Saik replaced Türkeş Akşit. Andırın SK's Ettore Longo was substituted for Türkeş Uğuralp. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinhard Mehrwald during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Reinhard Mehrwald hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Batıhan Saik got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Rotariu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batıhan Saik in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olaf Jarosz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rotariu having to interfere.
