The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, SC Pfullendorf's Mano Rota got control of the ball when Toro Martínez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Lucila hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mano Rota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toro Martínez in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Toro Martínez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mano Rota was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Despidida AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
