Menchu FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Uriel Gorri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Ramiro Sica when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uriel Gorri in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramiro Sica, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute Roch Wodaszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Vittorio in the 31st minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Menchu FC from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Tomas Cordaryal in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La France FC's Hector Urtats. After 90 minutes of play, La France FC's Jacinto Quilino made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
