The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Pastor Frantzes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Mândrilă. Sandu Mândrilă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pastor Frantzes came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandu Mândrilă slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Sandu Mândrilă made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Frantzes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taribo West in the 14th minute of play. Fred Åkerström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Frantzes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Isótopos V.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fred Åkerström came free, but Pastor Frantzes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Åkerström in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Isótopos V.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 25 minutes, Petru Bâru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Petru Bâru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Åkerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Löhr in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Gustaw Jaraczeski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Isótopos V.M. got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Jaraczeski. Fred Åkerström scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Frantzes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Löhr in the 40th minute of the match. Gonzalo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the match, Fred Åkerström notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Isótopos V.M.'s Pastor Frantzes. Pastor Frantzes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Löhr was the one to do the kick off. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taribo West, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fred Åkerström scored 6-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Frantzes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pastor Frantzes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Mândrilă in the 65th minute of the match. Isótopos V.M. made a substitution. Albeiro Usuriaga replaced Petru Bâru. Isótopos V.M. made a substitution. Gualterio Mede replaced Domingo Oihenarte. Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa was substituted for Fred Åkerström. The throw-in from Gustaw Jaraczeski in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Playa Malvín's Vladimiro Marquez. In the 80th minute Niva Espellosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albeiro Usuriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Playa Malvín defense, Albeiro Usuriaga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira. The Playa Malvín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Roberto Teixeira should have stopped the shot. Pastor Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Gonzalo Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Frantzes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. If Niva Espellosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gamus Rocha to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Isótopos V.M.'s Albeiro Usuriaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Roberto Teixeira. That made the score 7-2 after 96 minutes of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Playa Malvín had played much better football throughout.
