After a defensive mix-up in GuateFortín's zone, Severiano Taurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Santana came out of the goal and Severiano Taurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Balvanera played a much better game than GuateFortín and deserved their victory. The GuateFortín players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
