Josef Poirier started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Norberto-Doroteo Méndez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Vito Lange. Vito Lange was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Drew Tobin in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Sportivo Luan Toro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darnell Elias took the corner. Vito Lange didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto-Doroteo Méndez went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Darnell Elias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodri De Paul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto-Doroteo Méndez scored 0-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vito Lange, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vito Lange came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Luan Toro's Norberto-Doroteo Méndez. But to his dismay, Norberto-Doroteo Méndez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Vito Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto-Doroteo Méndez in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO defense, Norberto-Doroteo Méndez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Lange. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Lange should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Perez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaston Romero made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Norberto-Doroteo Méndez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto-Doroteo Méndez came free, but Vito Lange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Theo Bloom got a free kick in the 58th minute. The nice shot from Gaston Romero in the 61stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Vito Lange had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 63 minutes of play, Sportivo Luan Toro's Gaston Romero made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito Lange was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute, Gaston Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto-Doroteo Méndez came free, but Vito Lange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto-Doroteo Méndez in the 71st minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Vito Lange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Sportivo Luan Toro's Norberto-Doroteo Méndez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Gaston Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Vito Lange made a huge save. 77 minutes into the game, Norberto-Doroteo Méndez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Vito Lange was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Jaime Peruanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Eliseo Perez's late challenge caught a DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Perez helped the player get up and apologised. Eliseo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
