Orlando Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Félix Moreno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GuateFortín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caballeritos del Baile the free kick. After 18 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Félix Moreno. Filiberto Meder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Fidel Santana made a huge save. After having played for 22 minutes, Alfredo Hinguanzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Hinguanzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Endura in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alberto Santamaria fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GuateFortín's protests and gave Alberto Santamaria a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Santamaria didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonides Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caballeritos del Baile's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
