When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Tanek Bobrowski took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Esiquio Adarzo to make any attempt to save it. DIF LEEDS BK's Ernst Dahlquist got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Estrellas Doradas FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Östen Hedin 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silviu Novac in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esiquio Adarzo saved Estrellas Doradas FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Hedin in the 44th minute of play forced Estrellas Doradas FC's goalkeeper Esiquio Adarzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esiquio Adarzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Novac in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute Östen Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esiquio Adarzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Cardona made a kick off.
