The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when SuRpRiSe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Ranowiecki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes, Danil Shashkov made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SuRpRiSe's Mieszko Olchowy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Feliks Marchefka fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuRpRiSe's protests and gave Feliks Marchefka a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes SuRpRiSe got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Marchefka. Danil Shashkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, SuRpRiSe's goalkeeper Mieszko Olchowy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danil Shashkov. Danil Shashkov struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mieszko Olchowy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blumenau Esporte Clube. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Gondela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Macedo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Narciso Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Ranowiecki in the 31st minute of play. Mieszko Olchowy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danil Shashkov in the 40th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbyszek Gondela made a kick off. Arnaldo Seber made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SuRpRiSe's Emil Dropinski.
