Marian Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 3rd minute of play. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Marian Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Pascali in the 8th minute of play. Felix Chirtoacă lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 10th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Chirtoacă to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Dino Baciadonne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal and Dino Baciadonne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 15th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Marian Podgoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Damiano Di Nucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iacob Praporgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Pascali took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Podgoreanu. Marian Podgoreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Marian Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Tănăsocă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando Di Camillo came free, but Marian Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Odobescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Dino Baciadonne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Coriano FC's Dino Baciadonne to fire away a dangerous shot which Marian Podgoreanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Di Camillo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Marian Podgoreanu. Marian Podgoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Di Camillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Podgoreanu. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinando Di Camillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Marian Podgoreanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Pascali went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After the first half Coriano FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tudor Bărbânță to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciro Melone scored 0-8 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Podgoreanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC UNIREA Alba Iulia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Florin Astafiei hit a great ball. Marian Podgoreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinando Di Camillo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Ferdinando Di Camillo made a precise shot to the right of Marian Podgoreanu. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. After some careless play in the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia defense, Cazimir Tănăsocă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Podgoreanu. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Podgoreanu should have stopped the shot. Ferdinando Di Camillos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Marian Podgoreanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 71 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Marian Podgoreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinando Di Camillo. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's zone, Ferdinando Di Camillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal and Ferdinando Di Camillo tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 84thth minute of the game Dino Baciadonne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Marian Podgoreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Coriano FC's Ciro Melone made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marian Podgoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's attentive Mihai Odobescu managed to snatch the ball when Alberto Pascali made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Tudor Bărbânță got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Coriano FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC UNIREA Alba Iulia.
