When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Mário Maradona took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Karl-Erik Norström to make any attempt to save it. In the 8th minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thommy Jadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Mário Maradona took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Karl-Erik Norström to make any attempt to save it. Thommy Jadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Norström in the 14th minute of the match. The corner led Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan to fire away a dangerous shot which Thommy Jadis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Chen Ao Fan made a precise shot to the right of Thommy Jadis. MINEIROS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Teodoro Heidemann made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Roberto Cunha however managed to control. When MINEIROS's Mário Maradona in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skövde AIK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute Mário Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Erik Norström made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Mário Maradona sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Maradona in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Norström saved Skövde AIK from getting behind. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Lu Rong Yi. Georg Norström hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Mário Maradona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Karl-Erik Norström made a huge save. A hard shot 47 in the game by Mário Maradona from a close distance when the talented Karl-Erik Norström managed to make a qualified save. Skövde AIK's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chen Ao Fan made a kick off. Lu Rong Yi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the game Krister Uggstedt made a throw-in which Henrik Lönn played forward. 58 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Keegan came free, but Thommy Jadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MINEIROS's Bon Čáp was substituted for Mário Maradona. In the 71stth minute of the game Bon Čáp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to MINEIROS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Humberto Severo hit a great ball. MINEIROS's Bon Čáp managed to work through Skövde AIK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bon Čáp dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thommy Jadis made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Chen Ao Fan sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, MINEIROS's Teodoro Heidemann got a free kick in the 90th minute. MINEIROS's Teodoro Heidemann quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Henrik Lönn, made in the 94th minute of the game. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bon Čáp in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that MINEIROS were the better team. MINEIROS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
