The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rıza Vuralhan should have stopped the shot. Manchester United FC made a substitution. Eeli Niinimäki replaced Valdemar Kuoppala. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şener Atabek in the 89th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Beckham came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester United FC played a much better game than GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR and deserved their victory. The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
