The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olof Mellberg struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Fernandão Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DOROSTOL Ss. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Teixeira in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandão Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Wolf's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Fonseca came free, but Fernandão Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Manuel Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Doriva Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolf's supporters rose to their feet, but Doriva Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Rivero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Teixeira in the 43rd minute of play forced Wolf's goalkeeper Fernandão Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elói Guerra to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes DOROSTOL Ss got a freekick which was hit by Aimé Rispal. Fernandão Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Morais in the 63rd minute of play forced Wolf's goalkeeper Fernandão Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wolf's Doriva Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
