Savas Iosifakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gheorghe Baldovin made a huge save. Alexander Hegg came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buzău's Traian Balaban. But to his dismay, Traian Balaban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Regis in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gheorghe Baldovin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Fabiofs fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Fabiofs's Savas Iosifakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Elenescu came free, but Alexander Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Savas Iosifakis got free with Gheorghe Baldovin in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Buzău's Gheorghe Baldovin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Buzău from getting a goal against them. Cristian Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Gheorghe Baldovin made a huge save. Fabiofs's Alexander Hegg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Elenescu in the 28th minute of play. Ştefan Trif was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Buzău! FC Buzău:s Gheorghe Baldovin showed great skill when he stopped Cristian Batista:s penalty. Gheorghe Baldovin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savas Iosifakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Savas Iosifakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buzău's Gheorghe Baldovin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Avram Elenescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Avram Elenescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Joãozinho Trints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Baldovin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gheorghe Baldovin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Savas Iosifakis's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 67 minutes, Savas Iosifakis made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Buzău's Gheorghe Baldovin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Fabiofs's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Elenescu came free, but Alexander Hegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Joãozinho Trints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Baldovin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gheorghe Baldovin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Fabiofs were awarded a corner. Cristian Batista went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 79thth minute of the game Joãozinho Trints who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Buzău's Gheorghe Baldovin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's Avram Elenescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Hegg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Molski in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match Fabiofs got a corner. FC Buzău's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Batista ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vintilă Stoicea tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Gheorghe Baldovin. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joãozinho Trints in the 95th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fabiofs fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Buzău had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
