Jarrod Leary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 26th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Frank de Boer in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dave Sylvester. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Larry Cermak replaced Xu Yuan Lin. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Dave Sylvester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wessel came out of the goal and Dave Sylvester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piearres Olalla hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Dolf Schoonderwoerd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarrod Leary. Racing Miami Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dolf Schoonderwoerd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams was substituted for Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Dolf Schoonderwoerd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrod Leary came out of the goal and Dolf Schoonderwoerd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chance Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarrod Leary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Bruinsma in the 76th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Chance Adams came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Swanson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Although Racing Miami Futbol Club had been in control for most of the match, The Underdogs still came away with the win.
